ANOTHER picture of a meal. Sorry! But there wasn't much else to take pictures of. Just laid on my back and waited for someone to come entertain me! Thankfully, I find my entertainment quite adorable!
I couldn't see around the corner where Addiosn was, so I reached my phone around and took a picture. And this is what I got!!! She was checking out her silly faces in the mirror. Goofy girl!
Monka made her famous chili (thank goodness for the little kitchen in our hotel suite). We didn't care that it was 80 degrees outside - Addison and I ate it up!!
My transportation. I've just finally realized their potential. . . . I can use them like large chopsticks to pick things off of the floor. Very nice for someone who can't bend down.
I traded out the hospital for the hotel this day. I just loved watching Addison and my Mom dance next to the bed when Dancing With The Stars came on that night.
Another feature I missed once I checked out . . . and to be honest I still do. Thank goodness they deactivated the leg feature - I accidently hit that button so many times.
Day after surgery and this was my view . . . at least for the few minutes I was actually awake during the day. Notice the metal frame around the top of my bed? There was a great trapeze apparatus to help me sit up and move just a bit. I really missed that thing when I checked out!
5:30am in Minnesota, 2:30am in Alaska, waiting in line to get admitted into the Mayo Clinic's Methodist Hospital for my surgery. Sean carried my bag with Lambchop (thanks Mom) through the subway to the hospital. Lambchop made for a great ice-breaker while we waited in line. We met a super nice couple who had a granddaughter named Addison - so we got to swap Addison stories to help keep the anxiety down for both of us ladies who were going "Under the Knife!"
After dancing with her through the tv Addison finally got her picture taken with one of her favorite Dancing With The Stars celebrities in Rochester. . . sorta.
Spending every day I can just staring at this little face. In our house these days it's all play and no work while I try to run, dance and play with this little girl every second of our waking day.
At one time, I had grand intentions for this room. It would be the room with no toys and would always be put together . . . well, those dreams have been replaced with toys, including a new slide, that are responsible for that big, big smile! Trust me, the floor cluttered with bright colorful toys is not as pretty as an area rug; but it's a whole lot more fun!
My poor girl is having a difficult time with some teeth that are (finally) coming in. She sat and watched her entire video with her puppy in a headlock while she chewed on her fingers.
Okay, I don't know how this started . . . For some reason Addison has begun storing toys, papers, credit cards and anything else she can get her tiny little hands on and stuffs them in her clothes. I suppose when you don't have pockets you must improvise!
This night she opened her bag of little stuffies and look where she decided to store a little puppy . . .
Sean is so excited for the day he can bring his little caddy to the golf course. Little does he know, Addison has her own idea of how this Caddy-Thing will be done!
